The Chamber Music Players bring the creative process of today's chamber players to the local stage. The roster of performers rotates throughout the spectrum of professional musicians from area orchestras, in order to give the audience a wide exposure to the dynamic approach these diverse players bring alive.
Programing high quality, rarely heard chamber pieces, the CMP demonstrates the power of Chamber Music when performed by talented musicians.
Sunday, March 29 at 3PM, Chamber Music Players return to the Blue Bamboo for an intimate afternoon of richly textured chamber music. This program brings together luminous works written for small, conversational ensembles—Antonín Dvořák’s warmly expressive Terzetto in C Major and Moritz Moszkowski’s dazzling Suite for Two Violins and Piano.
From Dvořák’s folk-inspired lyricism to Moszkowski’s virtuosic sparkle, the concert highlights the expressive power of strings in close dialogue, enhanced by the color and brilliance of the piano. Performed by violinists Brian Bak and Routa Kroumovitch, violist Alvaro Gomez, and pianist Johann Ripert, this program celebrates chamber music at its most personal, playful, and profound.
