On Sunday, March 1, 2026 at 2:00 PM, the Bravo Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of
Dr. Alvaro Gomez, presented a compelling afternoon program at
Timucua Arts Foundation as part of Timucua Arts Foundation Opera Festival.
This thoughtfully curated concert traced a powerful emotional arc: from a contemporary meditation on the span of a human life, through the ceremonial elegance of Mozart’s Salzburg serenade, into the intense spiritual drama of Haydn’s La Passione, and concluding with the graceful optimism of a Viennese waltz by Joseph Lanner. Together, these works explore time, faith, ceremony, and joy—hallmarks of the Central European musical tradition—brought vividly to life by the intimacy and clarity of chamber orchestra performance
